~Post~ Somehow she had just known the most stubborn of the wolves wasn't about to give her anything. At least she wasn't disappointed since she expected nothing. From the second, however, she was kind of hoping to find something there, but didn't want to get her hopes up. ~Post~ Sighing as she found nothing out of the second wolf either, she knew she was not having a good day still. Or rather, a good fight, her first fight against the wolf that kept running away went rather well, especially when she found the new spear! Figuring it was just a short streak of bad luck, Xavier reached into her bag to take out one of the two health potions she brought around with her and drank it down. The other three she left in her room at the inn because if she needed to use more than she had on her, it was time for her to get out of there. Searching around once more, she didn't dare look for another pair of wolves, just making sure she killed one before it ran away would be enough for her. Left with scouring the forest once again, she searched around until a single one came into view. ~Post~ Doing much better against the single wolf, Xavier got the jump on the creature this round. Causing it to yelp at her attack, she came down on it with enough force to take away a little over half of its health. Grinning to herself, she tried not to get too overconfident again. She still at half health as well and these things packed just as much owch as she could. The wolf recovered rather quickly, its reflexes better than the pigs she had been fighting before. While she tried to get out of its way, she didn't have quite the amount of dodge or luck as she had before, perhaps from the beating she had took. Either way, the wolf slammed itself into her, causing her to stumble back, but not fall. ~Post~ Able to get this wolf down in no time flat, Xavier heaved a sigh of relief. Good thing she hadn't been reckless and ignored her health before starting that fight or she would have been dropped that fight instead of the wolf. ~Post~ Sighing unhappily from her last three skills, Xavier narrowed her eyes to look around the dark forest floor. She really would prefer finding some more materials to bring back to her shop before she left. " I don't think that crazy man would mind if I took a little detour from his quest for a few moments." ~Post~ While her 'spider sense' was tingling, Xavier didn't find any sort of chest nearby. Left with the feeling that she had just barely skipped over something, or should have turned over a different rock, she gave up with her luck and headed out of the forest. While she would have liked to bring back more, she would take what she could get. Meeting back up with the crazy wolf man, she handed over the paws then held her hand in the air when he offered to make her something with them. " Nooo thank you! I don't want ANYTHING to do with them bad luck wolves, they're just not worth it." Turning back around, she headed for her shop.
