Hearing from the local townsfolk at the inn that there was trouble outside the city by a nearby farm, Xavier rushed out of the inn to see what the trouble was. By the sounds of it, it seemed like the farmers were struggling with some of the wildlife. Having a strong urge to protect and fight for the weaker of the heard, she was well on her way out despite the late night hour. The longer she stayed out in the night, however, the better she found herself seeing. Toggling her Night Vision skill on again, she started into a jog when her sight brightened ever so slightly. " Oh geez!" It didn't take her long to get to the outskirts of town just outside the walls. As she ran up she could that the fields were brimming with all sorts of boars, " HEY! Cut that out or I'll make bacon out of you!" ~Post~ Going violent from the get go, Xavier ran at a rather large and angry boar that was smashing a pumpkin the size of itself. Shouting at the thing to get away, she entered the battle of pig verses crop with a bang, activating her Sonic Leap. If there was one thing someone shouldn't do, that's mess with Xavier's favorite holiday. ~Post~ Her anger more fiery than her opponents, Xavier stood from the finishing stance of her Sonic Leap, she was expecting to have to dodge an angry boar. Instead, she found the thing lying on its side, defeated in one fell swoop. Blinking, her face slowly turned to a grin. Looking to her new weapon, she was more than happy with its performance in battle. " I think you and I are going to get along perfectly." ~Post~ Taking a Common Leather Tunic from the monster, Xavier stuffed it into her bag. She had stopped questioning where in the world these monsters got such things since she got her spear from a wolf in her last quest. Standing up, she looked around the pumpkin patch, in search of yet another target that was messing with her precious vegetables. Seeing two smaller pigs working together to just roll over and squash baby pumpkins between them. " Oh no you don't!" Running up to them, she leaped in the air, grabbing at her weapon from her back to bring down upon the nearest one. ~Post~ Slashing at the creature, just a normal strike brought it down to half health. The information made her grin, she loved having such a finely sharpened weapon. For her, the best offense was a good defense, taking out her foes quickly would assure her survival. Her skill with dodging wasn't as great this round though. While the first boar she attacked was dazed slightly from her heavy hit, the other one didn't appreciate her interrupting their fun. It flat out attacked her and managed to slam into her from behind. " Ow, you little runt!"
