~Post~ Tokusie stands at the gates of the city. Well kept, white leather armor fits her form well... too well as games like this seem to enjoy. Her arms are crossed under her chest as she flicks through her inventory, making sure everything she needs is packed. The forest paths always were difficult to navigate and she didn't want to end up backed into a corner where she cannot survive. This quest, she knew from her beta days, is the one that leads to the dungeon to get to the next floor. She is level five, that is a good time to start. The pre-tasks before the main dungeon should be enough to bulk her up in gear and xp to be ready to join the raid on the boss. ~Post~ As Mortambo walks towards the gates, he checks over his armor and equipment, mulling over which abilities to take into battle since he has only been soloing so far. "I overheard a couple of beta players talking the other day saying this is the quest line to the final boss. I'm not sure I'm ready for that quite yet," he thinks to himself. "What if I don't have the gear?" He sighs and thinks "It is Tokusie who invited me, and while I haven't interacted with her much it seems like she's always pretty well equipped and knows what she's doing. I wonder if she was a beta player?"About that time, he makes it to the gate and sees Tokusie doing a last minute gear check. ~Post~ Waking up to the sweet smell of desserts, Xavier rolled over on the floor as a message from someone attempted to wake her from her dreams. At first she ignored it, wanting to sleep more than answer, but as the alert echoed in her head, she groaned and rolled over on the floor. " Nnnngh, it's too early..." Letting out a yawn, she looked around to find herself on the floor of her dessert shop. " What...? Oh, whoops." Laughing lightly at herself, she couldn't believe that she had fallen asleep here! Sliding her finger through the air as she laughed, Xavier opened her inbox to check her messages, reading the newest to find out that it was from her most recent acquaintance. " Some sort of quest line huh? Sounds fun to me!" Getting up to her feet, she wasn't about to pass up an opportunity to team up with another player. Taking up her gear, she rushed on out a little later in the day than she thought. " Hey! Tokusie!" She called, getting closer to the gates. That other guy from before was there as well, Morty. Jogging up to the two, she gave their rather impressive looks a big thumbs along with a wide grin, " So, I hear we're off on a rather impressive adventure today? Preparing for some big bad monster?" ~Post~ Tokusie exited out of her inventory as her two party members joined her. She smiled warmly at them. Friends, well she saw them as friends already. They were people she was going to depend on and hopefully they could depend on her. The woman figited a moment before talking. "I know beaters aren't really looked well on but I don't want to deceive you two. I was in beta and the quest we are going on starts the way to the boss for this level. This is going to be dangerous but I think we are strong enough to handle things." She turned to face the road. "I understand if you want to back out but I know I cannot make it without the two of you. We are the front lines. We are the strongest. We can get us home. So... lets go if you are with me." ~Post~ Shrugging her shoulders at the latest revelation about Tokusie being one of the beta testers, Xavier couldn't exactly say she cared. Not to be rude, but so what if she had played the game before them? Knew where to find a certain item or where a secret passage might be? They had to do the work then to find such things the first time around, everyone else could do the same thing. ~Post~ Heading into the forest again, Xavier had a short flashback of the last time she had been here and the one wolf that just wouldn't go down. That was one of the worst battles she had ever fought, hopefully there were no god wolves here. Shaking her head, she dragged her finger through the air to open her menu. Toggling her Night Vision on so she could see more clearly in the dim woods. She was surprised to find that when she closed her menu there were already three wolves blacking their path. Along with one Mortambo heading straight into the mix. " Hey now, don't forget to leave something for the rest of us!" Taking the spear from her back, Xavier flashed Tokusie quick grin as she charged in after Mortambo. She was more than thrilled to fight along side a group rather than solo. Coming up on the starting battle, the wolves didn't even give her the time of day. Instead, they turned towards the more heavily geared player while she made her way around them.
