~Post~ Jumping into the fray, Xavier strike landed true as she deleted the first raven from the fight in one fell swoop with her Sonic Leap. Startled from the swift and aggressive assault on its companion, the second one took to the sky's. It didn't seem too thrilled about attacking the woman now. Insistent on her mission, however, Xavier chased after the raven. Making use of a barrel ahead of her and her prey, she leaped on it to give her a foot up; slashing at the bird. ~Post~ True to her word, Xavier gave the bird no escape. It was quickly finished off on the ground with a critical strike. Letting out a rather loud guffaw, she couldn't help but laugh at how easy the latest two had gone down this time. " Man, I hope things always go this well!" She knew she was probably cursing herself for t he last fight, but it didn't matter, " Yeah, I've got this!" ~Post~ Taking the little thief's item, she found it had stolen another crafting ingredient. Where in the world they found such things, she had no clue, but at least they were being given to someone who can actually use them now. Picking up the beaten birds, she put them with the other two in the growing pile. Looking around, she could already see her last target up ahead. ~Post~ Apparently just done with the quest, Xavier slammed into the raven with enough force to beat it down in a single strike. Grinning to herself, she sheathed the wooden sword and leaned down to loot her catch once more. ~Post~ With a grin on her face, Xavier returned to the old woman's home, holding out the bag of ravens, " Here you are, a few less buzzards around to mess with people." Taking the bag from her, the woman returned her smile, nodding in approval, " Why thank you dear, just wait there a moment and I'll whip you up a little something." Watching her head back into the house, Xavier looked around to find a couple rocking chairs around a small table. Taking a seat in front of one, she took a moment to relax and watch the clouds go by while she waited. Like in most games, it didn't take long for the woman to complete her craft. Soon the sound of an opening door caused Xavier to face back towards the entrance, greeting the woman as she took a seat in the chair across from her, hands outstretched to hand her the quest rewards. " Here you are, a little help to get yourself started." Taking the starter items along with a rather delicious smelling raven pie. She chose the leather armor and One-Handed Assault Spear gear wise, saving the food and healing potions for a bad day. " Thank you very much," setting the pie between them, she took a single slice of it, " Why don't we eat this together? Desserts always taste better with company." Though she knew the old woman was just another Npc with a programmed personality, someone who wouldn't give Xavier another though, but still.
