Mortambo manages to bring his sword around to protect his body. For a moment, he and the Kobold are locked in battle each trying to overpower the other as their blades are shoved against one another. As he wanders deeper into the forest he comes across some tracks. Following them, they lead to a mine being guarded by some kobolds. He leaps into the clearing and attacks the two guards!
